Graphical Redesign

With this being in the early stages of development, there's one level of freedom that I absolutely love to have--- The ability to radically change how things look.

My intentions with this project from the start was to have something challenging to design graphically. Something that really stands out. This is where the initial plan of going with low resolution pixelated graphics came into play. Needless to say, when you mix "low resolution" with "indie video game", people immediately jump to the retro feeling of the game. Honestly I think I want to go with something more modern than that. Retro's fine, but for Surface I think it's only fine for style of gameplay, and not graphics. This is where; after a long chat with Surasshu, I've decided to go with HD, hand drawn graphics. Everything will be presented in a unique and stylized manor, and it's more than satisfying for my graphical design/visual presentation itch.

We'll see what happens.
