Small Palette System Demo

Over the course of this month, I've been conceptualizing different ways I want this map system to work. I've been building a framework for it on and off. I've managed to work out a pretty robust structure and format for maps, and I'm getting ready to start piecing it all together.

I'm not posting about the map system now however; this post is about palettes! The palette system is currently the single most important system in the game. I need it to take the map system out of concept and into reality. As it stands right now, the palette system is pretty much complete.

What's significant about this is that it's quick. A lot quicker than a previous palette system test I was working on; which had a reasonably large lag when you'd switch weapons (play around with the num pad).

Anyway; just showing some progress.
